For the first time ever, TechCrunch is coming to the Baltics on February 9th, 2012, to the beautiful Baltic city of Riga, Latvia. While Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are small countries in Europe, they have an outsized role in generating new technology startups that have the potential to change the world. TechCrunch will hold a conference and pitch contest to show the best that the Baltic startup and technology community has to offer. TechHub Riga will host and co-organize the event, which will culminate in the official launch party for this new community and co-working space in Riga.

Hear and meet top guests, including

  • Jon Bradford – MD, Springboard Cambridge and Exec. Director, Ignite 100
  • Carlos Eduardo Espinal – Partner, Seedcamp
  • Alex Farcet - Managing Director, Startup Bootcamp
  • Lars Hinrichs – Founder, HackFwd. Founder and former CEO, Xing
  • Aldas Kirvaitis – CEO, Cherry Media Group
  • Ilya Shirokov - Vice-president of Mail.Ru Group, Head of Social Networks' business unit
  • Andres Susi – CEO, Flirtic and Partner, MTVP
Mike Butcher will interview guests in his usual “fireside chats”. Panel discussions will focus on startup investments in the Baltics, scaling startups to Europe and the USA, as well as using the Baltics as a launch pad to the Russian market.  See the full list of guests and the agenda here
